An Awesome Weekend:)

It’s the weekend!! Now usually on weekends my family & I would go to my grandaunts house to spend the night, but this weekend is special. So I was coming home from school in my mum’s pick up. My mum said “ We’re going to your aunt’s house for dinner.” I went home to get my new wheelchair and pack my backpack for the overnight stay. Once we got to my aunt’s house the food was already on the table, it was my first time having an American dinner it was nice. After dinner I was wheeling around on my new wheelchair. When I was trying to reverse I kept banging into my cousin’s bike! At 8:30pm we had to say goodbye to my aunt and cousin as we were going off to my grandaunt’s house.

At 8:35 we arrived at my grandaunt’s house. The first thing I wanted to do was to connect my phone to my aunt’s wi-fi but I later found out that my aunt’s modem was broken! So, we had to use my aunt’s Iphone’s hotspot, whenever the connection was lost I had to go to my aunt’s phone to switch on and off the hotspot setting!! I was surfing around my facebook account when I got a message from one of my ex schoolteachers, we ended up chatting for 30 minutes! I slept at 2:30am that day.

The next morning my aunts told me to call my dad so that we could go for a morning meal together. After that nice meal my mum and grandaunts said they wanted to take a walk. That left me with my dad and younger brother to go back to my grandaunt’s apartment. Once I got back to the apartment I went to use my grandaunt’s laptop.

At 4:50 we were getting ready for our buffet dinner. The first thing I did after getting ready was, spray my Burberry perfume. At 4:55 we embarked on our journey to the holiday inn hotel. The first thing I went to get was a plate of roosted chicken and duck. I was halfway done with my meal; I went to get some desserts. When I was making my way to the dessert counter I could smell the stinky cheese, I was telling myself” I should get my desserts and GET Out!!”  When I got back to my table I heard my aunt shouting and I asked, “ What’s going on?” Then she said “ I just beat my high score at a game.”

After dinner my brother was singing the knife game song. He was pretending to stab himself with the knife. It was an awesome weekend See You !   

why am I so awkward ?

So if you guys didn't know I'm usually very awkward. For example when I meet someone new I’ll be like “ Oh no what should I say to impress this person?” I normally wait for the person to make the first move. Even when I’m having my weekly speech therapy session, there will always be an awkward silence at any time. I always live in my own imaginary world. Sometimes when I’m sitting down at the dinner table with my siblings. They start talking and I have no idea what they talk about. Well I know what they talk mostly talk about school. I find it hard to relate to the topic because I don’t go to a mainstream school like they do. So yeah those are reasons why so awkward See you LWK   

An evening with the stars @ Mediacorp

Hey guys, so if you guys didn’t know my family & I were on television last night! I’m here to share this once in a lifetime experience with you.

Filming

On the 27^th of January my brother and I were just walking home from school when, the camera crew said “ Ok can you guys walk back up? We’re going to film you guys.” We did the same thing 3 times before we cloud go up to our apartment! After reaching home the producer said “ We’re going to interview you in 10 minutes .”  So I decided not to shower in order to save time. During my interview, I had to speak in Chinese, which was no easy task for me, thank god for the Chinese classes during my PAP days. Ha Ha. The filming was over and I so excited for the day of the live show.

The Big Night

The day of the show came, I was so happy to be on tv.  After returning from my cousin’s birthday party I took a short nap before going to the studio. At  4:45, the bus came to pick us up to send to us the studio here’s the funny thing the bus was empty, I kind of felt like the bus was our limo LOL. When we arrived we were escorted to the viewing where we had our dinner. After dinner we went to sit down on our seats. I kept going to the washroom, so they changed my seat closer to the exit. When my story came on tears were coming down from my eyes. After the show we managed to get our picture taken with one of the cast member of Point of Entry. It was a fun Now I’m famous lol.

Hi everyone, as you know Chinese New Year  pasted a few days ago I’m here to share my thoughts about the 72 hour celebration.

Reunion Dinner  

For the reunion we went to my grandmother’s house for our annul dinner. We arrived at 7 Pm as dinner would only began once all my relativities had arrived so I decided to have a little chat with my uncle. We were talking about the top 5 things to do in the Untied States. My uncle’s top 5 things to do is not really my cup of tea. At 7:30 the dinner finally began, first we tossed the lou Hei in the air, I accidentally tossed mine onto the floor!! After we finished with the Lou Hei I enjoyed my grandmother’s special one year once Buddha jumps over wall soup. After dinner my grandmother gave me my first red packet for the New Year. My parents said that they were going to get some groceries, so I said ok. While my parents were out getting groceries, I was playing my aunt’s Ipad, I was playing cooking game where you have to cook anything for the kids, I was doing some really lame stuff. After 3 hours of playing with the Ipad, my siblings and I went home. We saw our parents and I asked “ Mum Dad where did you go?!”

 They said, “ We went to Lim Chu Kang to get some flowers.” My mind was blown, why would my parents go so far just to buy flowers. After awaking from my shock I went to bed to get some much needed rest.

Day 1

Woke up in joy on the first day of the New Year, I crawled onto my Mum and Dad’s   bed to wish them a happy new year. Soon after wishing my parents a happy New Year, I was rewarded with a red packet. After getting the red packet from my parents I went into the shower and when I came out, I heard a parody of psy’s Gangnam style, instead of Gangnam style it was God of fortune style LOL. After I finished with my shower I went to the living room to wait for everyone, once everyone was ready we took a few family pictures, some of them were really funny. After taking a few pictures we went to my grandparent’s house to wish them a happy new year. I didn’t really do much over there. At 10am we were supposed to go to my aunt’s house but it was raining, so we had to wait for an hour before going. After an hour of waiting we finally went to my aunt’s house. At my aunt’s house I played with my cousin’s Xbox kenict,. I had a hard time playing because I was sitting on the floor and it was hard for the motion sensor to detect my movements. When my cousins and I were about begin our game of blackjack, my mum said “ Wee Kiat we have to go brother’s sick!” So we went home. Once we got home, I remembered that it was my grandaunt’s birthday I ran to my grandmother’s house to wish her a happy birthday. After that I came home to get some rest.

Day 2

Woke up super early on this day, I quickly got dressed and ran to my grandmother’s house. Once I arrived at my grandmother’s house, I saw my cousins sitting there doing nothing. That was until my aunt passed the I pad and said “ ten minutes each Wee kiat will be the time manger ok?” Once they got hold of the Ipad, one of them kept asking me “ When is it my turn Mr time manger?”

I said, “ I’ll inform when it’s your turn Ok?”

After being the time manger for my two cousins. I wanted to have my lunch but there’s long line for a seat, so I had wait a while. My parents were at a temple praying for us. Then I decided to call her to find why they were taking so long, but her phone was turned off. I was waiting for my cousin to arrive. At 4pm they came, I decided to challenge my 7-year-old cousin to a push up contest. He ended up beating me. At 6 pm we were all in room playing my uncle’s Iphone 5. My brother & older cousin were playing a game called thunder cats. At 7:30 we had to say goodbye. For me it was a fun 3 day gathering.J

A fairytale wedding

Hey guys I recently went for my uncle's wedding and I am here to talk about the fantastic evening that I had. At 6:30 I started to dress for success it took me 30 minutes  to get ready, for the final touch my dad helped me to apply a massive amount of hair gel onto my hair my hair felt like it was glued together! LOL I was all ready to go. Then I  realized that someone was missing, It was my mum I asked my dad " Dad where's mum . Then my dad replied " Your mum's at the hairdresser getting her hair done." So we had to wait for my mum to come home from the hairdresser. At 7: 15 we got onto the pickup and embarked on our journey to the restaurant, I was taking a nap on my way there. Once we arrived at the venue I was greeted by my grandaunts who were the wedding receptionists for the evening, once inside I greeted everyone and started to take pictures with everyone I knew. Once at my table I started to drink lots of  orange juice not knowing that  I've drunk 7 glasses of juice in 5 minutes!! At  8:00 dinner was served. The dish I enjoyed  the most was the mouth-watering roasted chicken. After the first dish was served, we toasted to the couple wishing them a lifetime of happiness, I did not expect my grandfather to be the loudest in the room but he was!! After the toast a video was shown of my uncle dancing to ganganam style, we were  all laughing like crazy. After the video finished showing I went to speak to my cousin, we were both wearing G-Shock watches LOL. At 10:30 we ended the wedding It was a joyful night for everyone See Ya

Bonding with neighbours

Hey guys, I'm back in my last blog post I talked about family-bonding today's topic is simiar. Being good friends with your neighburs is aewsome because you will never need help,if you are good friends with your niegbors they will rush out to help you whenever you need them. There's nothing like a good meal to get to know your neghbors better.
That's what I did last night, when I got to buffet table, the line was super long I had to wait for an hour.
After a great meal ( I had 6 plates of rice last night) Ha Ha.

\YEAH I won A PRIZE:)

By the time, I was done eating it was time to play a game and that game was bingo, we were choseing a preson form our table to play, and that preson ended up to be me!! We tried our best but we ended up lossing. :(  After the game it was time for the lucky draw we  were shouting our lucky draw nubers when the nuber was called for the 11th przie, gusse who won it ME!! Aftrer the lucky draw was over I took a group pic

A little effort can lead to a greener tomorrow

Hey guys if you look out your window right now you will see a lot of trees and stuff. The earth is our home and without the earth we won't be living all of us need air don't we ? Trees give us fresh air about 1 million trees are chopped down every year think of world with no trees.
We can also take action by
1. turning off all light when not in use
2. limit usage of things that need power
3. Bring your own bag when shopping ( To reduce the use of paper)
4. Lessen your shower time by 5 mins ( 8 liters of water per minute).
5 . Use rechargeable batteries
By taking these simple steps we can help save the planet.
If you look at your dinner plate tonight try to think of how many lives are lost just because you can have your dinner. Many animals are killed for their meat sometimes even before they turn one year old. Elephants are killed for their tusk their tusk are made into wall decorations. Crocodiles are killed for their skin their skins are made into bags. So think before buying any animal made things.

Together we can make the earth a happier place to live:)
