A Walk To Remember

One of my of biggest dreams is to get a job to support my family, and myself I planned to get some training after I leave my current school. I have spoken to a person that I know that works at the training center that I wish to enrol into after I leave school and one of things that she told me was that I had to ride the train on my own to the training center to attend the classes that I want to enrol into. So today I tried to walk all the way to the nearest trains station using my walking aid. I must say it was a rather hot and tiring one hour walk, but today my class went down to the sheltered workshop in my school, these words kept repeating in my head when I was there the words were “ I want to find a job that can provide for my family I don’t want to come here!!” When I got home I told my mum to show me the to way the train station, she said ok.

And so at 4:07 we embarked on our walk to the train station. Once I went into the hot sun I quickly regretted going out at that time because it was really hot I wanted to give up but I used what I saw this morning as motivation to push myself forward to finish what I started. I was almost reaching the train station I was like “ YES I MADE IT!!” Then I saw my grandaunt’s car my grandaunt came to send us home. Once I got to the void deck of my block my mum bought me a can of ice lemon tea as a light refreshment. Sometimes You Must Push Your Yourself To Your Limits To Get What You Want.

The Steps To My Bigger & Brighter Future

In my last post I talked about my plans for a bigger and brighter future, this is the follow up on that post. Ok this post is going to be about things I have to do to pave my way to that bigger and brighter future that I envisioned for myself.

Step 1 Improve Social Skills

The first thing I think I need to improve on would be my social skills. I really need to boost my self-esteem and self-confidence, both of which I extremely lack. But I just can’t seem to find that boost that I really need. On the other hand I have to stop being self – centred, but sometimes I can’t help it I just have to talk about myself till people get bored of me and start avoiding me. My family has shared with me this saying” “The world is not only about yourself.” Till this day I’m still trying to find the meaning behind that saying. My social skills extremely lack around the people  my age because, I don’t really like the topics that they talk about like games and all that kind of stuff, I wish that one day I can find friends that enjoy blogging and music as much as I do, so that we give blogging ideas to one another or when we need some advice on how to improve on our blogs we can just ask each other, but not many people update their blogs nowadays. :(

Step 2 Build Upper Body Strength

The next thing I think that I must improve on for a better future would be to build my upper body strength, so that it will be easier for me to wheel myself on my wheelchair to anywhere I want to go. But the thing is I’m sacred of the dangerous things that might happen to me when I’m outside such as falling, being stared at and injuring myself. The other thing is that I always forget to do my push-ups; I need to stop being lazy and start living an active life if I want to have a brighter future.

Step 3 Learn How To Ride The Train

Once I build enough upper body strength, I would then wheel myself to the train station to learn how to ride the train. From there I can live my dream of going out on my own. I can go for a nice dinner with my extended family without my mum & dad. Or go shopping with my aunts.

Step 4 Go For Some Training

Once I know how to ride the train I would to go to one training center in Singapore to get some training to pick up some skills, which can be useful to me in a workplace environment. The skills that I would like to pick up would be talking to people to sell things or Photoshop. Then after I finish the training I can look for a job to support my family and myself. It’s like a staircase that I have to walk up. At the end of the staircase is a door the door that leads me to my goals. I want to open up that door that I see at the end of the staircase and stay there. Thanks For ReadingJ

My Plans for A Bigger and Brighter Future

Sometimes I ask myself this question “ What’s going  happen to me after I leave my school environment?” That question can reduce me to tears in a matter of minutes. What if I don’t go to the place I want to go to? I’ll tell you what’s going happen to me, I’ll be sitting at home doing nothing, that’s something that I don’t want to happen! I want to be able to earn my own income to ease the burden of my Mum & Dad. I want to be able to go out on my own to enjoy a nice dinner with my extended family. I still have 2 years to learn how to go out on my own. I have high hopes that I’ll be able to go out on my own someday, hopefully that one day will come soon. But what am I pulling my hair out now? I should just enjoy my last 2 years in school enjoying myself and learn as much as I can within the two-year period. But at the same I can’t stop thinking about my plans for a bigger and brighter future.

Our Very First Class Play

Hello everyone, If you read my blog most of the time you would know that one of my dreams is to be an actor, well that dream sort of came true for me today My class was in the production of a play about recycling as a part of my of school’s Clean And Green Week and when my teacher announced that I was going to be a teacher I was like “OMG I get to be a teacher Yes!” During the first few practice sessions the class kept messing up but there were some really funny moments during those sessions, I kept on saying the wrong things at the wrong time!! My friends kept messing up as well but with some help from my teacher, we somehow managed to pull though. One of the hardest parts of the play was the dance we had to do at the end of the play we had to do it 3 times during rehearsal. The moment I returned home I felt a little nervous and my mum said, “ You’ve been on that stage so many times you will be fine.” With that really good piece of advice I went to bed to get a good night’s sleep to prepare myself for today’s play.
Woke up this morning got dressed in my in my suit and guitar tie, I felt like I was Justin Timberlake .HA HA. Once I arrived at I forgot that I supposed to be a wheelchair, so my teacher went to get one for me. My legs were shaking when I got on stage, but I still did it! After the play my class and I got many compliments from teachers and friends. I must say, it was an awesome class play I'm proud to be apart of it See You So

A day at the singapore Air Force Museum

Hello everyone, I just woke up from my nap the reason I took a nap was because I went for an outing with my school to the Air Force Museum.
Woke up extremely late today got scolded by my dad. Left for school as usual. Once I arrived at school I saw my classmates heading into the school hall, I wondered what was going on? So, I went into the hall then I saw all the junior classes performing Gangnam Style. After the performance, we boarded the bus to make our way to the museum. There were not enough seats on the bus so some of us had to sit on wheelchairs.
Once we arrived at the museum, I saw my teacher’s son and husband, I was trying to say hello to my teacher’s son but he kept running away from me! Ha Ha. Anyway I saw so many airplanes my class teacher tried to explain what the aircrafts were used for but I didn'tu understand anything. Afterwards we went into a theatre to watch a short clip about the evolution of the air force, from the time it was founded to the present day.
After watching the clip we went to the 2nd level to know about the history of the air force. There were also some parts of an air force airplane. After the tour, I noticed that I had $12 in my wallet then I was like“ What the heck I’m already here might as well buy something to remember this trip.” I had a hard time selecting my gift but I decided to get a SAF badge. It was an awesome trip  one worth remembering See You Soon

A Tooth's Tale

It’s been 2 months since I fell and broke my front tooth. I got my new fake tooth earlier today. Woke up at 9:15 am today to go for my appointment at the Health Promotion Broad (HPB). My dad and I were on our way to pick my mum from her workplace; from there we went to the National Dental Center (NDC). Once we arrived my mum went to get my queue number. During the waiting time I was playing Cut The Rope on my mum’s phone.
After the wait, I went into the dentist’s office and the dentist told me to stay clam and   still. When the dentist inserted my fake tooth I felt a really wired feeling in mouth, it felt like a piece of plastic was in my mouth. The dentist told me that I would have to get used to it. After we left the center we went for lunch, during my meal discovered that it was really hard to chew because of my tooth I also found hard to speak, so if any of my schoolmates are reading this please deal with me. Stop Smoking !!

Now Singapore is a really clean place to live, even throwing a piece of thrash on the ground will get you fined up to $500. In Singapore you can’t eat on the buses & trains. One of the most common pieces of trash I see would be cigarettes butts on the floors in some lifts, and the smell is just awful! Whenever I ride a lift that has that smell I feel like dying. Luckily the NEA has launched a campaign to help spread awareness of no smoking in public. My younger brother just showed me an ad for anti smoking and I thought that it was funny. Please help spread the message thanks and See You Soon.

The cartoon Character That resembles my teacher in real life

So, my class teacher came across my latest post and she asked me to think of a cartoon character that resembles her in real life, let’s jump right in to it shall we?
Ok I personally think my teacher is the real life version of Sandy Cheeks from Spongebob Squarepants. The reasons I say that she’s the real life Sandy is because she loves helping people feel they’re best, just like Sandy. Sandy loves helping her friends, that’s exactly how my teacher is I can always count on my teacher to turn that rain cloud above my head into a ray of sunshine.
The other reason I think that she’s real life Sandy is because she’s extremely smart. I can ask her any question in the whole world and she can think of a million answers to any questions I ask!
The last reason I think that my teacher is the real life Sandy it’s that she’s really sociable. I mean she can relate to almost anything! Form work related stuff to her personal stuff. It’s really fun to talk her, just like Sandy. So theses are the reasons why I think that my teacher is the real life version of Sandy See You Soon!    t

The cartoon character that resembles me in real life

Sometimes my siblings and I like to discuss with each other, which cartoon character best suit each one of us. I think that I'm the real life version of Squidward from Spongebob squarepants. Let me tell you why I personally think that I'm Squidward in real life.
Firstly the thing that is the same between Squidward and me is that we both think that we’re the best in the whole world. For Squidward he thinks that he’s the best at playing the clarinet, for me I think that I’m the best blogger but everyone thinks that we're the worst at the we things that we do. But we still do the things that we love despite other people’s hateful comments.
Squidward and I both hate to be annoyed. For me the real life Spongebob & Patrick would be my brother and sister. Sometimes both of them annoy the hell out of me! I think that I have the worst life ever, just like Squidward.

Both of us have big dreams of becoming famous, which will happen one day I hope. Ha Ha Both of us hate to go somewhere and wish that we did not have to be there. For Squidward, he hates working at the Krusty Krab, for me I dislike going for a family get to together which is the same as Squidward. Ha Ha. So those are reasons why I think I’m the real life Squidward. Ha Ha see you soonb
